OUR STORY

OUR STORY

Crosspoint Assembly of God was established on August 4th 2013. Formerly known as Family Faith Ministries, Crosspoint was birthed out of a desire to see new life come to this once thriving community. In May of 2013, God led Pastor Joshua Koss and his wife Anne-Marie Koss to the town of Carmichaels Pennsylvania to lead in a collaborative revitalization effort. Armed with the prayer and support of several remaining members, the assistance of the Assemblies of God, as well as the support of what has become known as our sister church, Faith Assembly of God in Uniontown Pennsylvania, Crosspoint immediately began to see growth on a weekly basis. From 8 people the very first Sunday in May 2013, to now nearly 500 people, Crosspoint has seen exponential growth and continues to grow weekly.

As a result of years of faithfulness, we have seen God expand our boarders. In July 2024, we officially purchased a "BIGGER BARN FOR THE HARVEST" at 200 Evergreene Dr. in Waynesburg. On December 1st, 2024, we officially held our first services there and we are excited to see all that God has in store for the next chapter. Our story is still being written, and so is yours! We pray that you would consider visiting one of our services in the near future to find out why many people call Crosspoint "HOME".

Who We Are

Here at Crosspoint we are a church that strives to LOVE GOD AND LOVE OTHERS. Crosspoint is a church with a big heart and a big vision for reaching all of Greene County PA for God's glory. We believe that 1 John 4:19 "We Love because he first loved us" teaches us that we are radically loved and because of that our response is to love others radically!

Whether you are new to Greene County or have lived here for years, we would love for you to come worship with us and see why hundreds of people have been drawn to call this church "HOME". We look forward to being an integral part of your journey!

Love God
Love Others.

THIS IS OUR MISSION!

When asked by one of the leaders of religious law, the Bible tells us in Matthew 22:36-40 "Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?”

37 Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40 The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.”

It is our heart at Crosspoint, to simply do these two things to the best of our ability. We believe that if we do these two things with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength, that everything else we face, God will take care of.

Join us as we continue to grow together and endeavor to help others discover how to become faithful disciples of Jesus. If you would like to learn more about what NEXT STEPS are available feel free to message Pastor Bill Kiger at Bill@crosspointaog.com

A CHURCH THAT PRAYS

A CHURCH THAT PRAYS

Jesus said in Matthew 21:13 "And He *said to them, “It is written: ‘My house will be called a house of prayer" So it is our desire to keep this our priority. We not only have a prayer chain that involves dozens of prayer warriors throughout Greene County, but we have a prayer meetings on Tuesday mornings @ 5AM for men, Prayer on Sundays @ 9AM, and weekly Staff Prayer for the needs of our church family.

If you need prayer, it is as easy as emailing us at prayer@crosspointaog.com, or by scanning the QR code in the photo.

Our Vision

Our vision is to reach a tithe of Greene County's population in the next 15 years. We believe that we not only have a mandate from Jesus to go into all the world and make disciples but we also know that our time here on earth is limited and therefore we sense an urgency to reaching the lost.
